Vol. 326 No. 4

Written Answers. - Skibbereen (Cork) Ambulance.

220.

asked the Minister for Health if he has any plans for the provision of a second ambulance at Skibbereen, County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The provision of ambulances in County Cork is a matter for the Southern Health Board. From inquiries made it has been ascertained that the health board have no plans to provide a second ambulance at Skibbereen, as they consider that one ambulance is sufficient to meet the needs of the area.
