asked the Minister for the Environment when a decision will be reached on the application of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny for a £1,000 new house grant.

When my Department are notified that all work on the house has been completed, an inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £1,000 new house grant, which has been due for almost two years, will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny on whose behalf continual representations have been made.

The grant will be paid shortly.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a reconstruction grant, which has been due for several years in respect of work which has been completed, will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that work has been saisfactorily completed and is in order for payment. The inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a reconstruction grant in respect of work which has been completed for some time will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a grant, which was approved 12 months ago, for recontruction works will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wesmeath.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a solid fuel grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath; when the work was inspected; when the relevant papers were supplied to his Department; and the reason for the delay in the payment of the grant.

The applicant has been notified that a grant cannot be paid in his case until the receipts for the purchase of the necessary materials used are supplied and are found to be in order by my Department. The application form was received in the Department on 30 January 1980, but the certificate of completion of the works was not received from the applicant until 7 November 1980. The inspection was carried out during the week ended 12 December 1980. There was no delay in the Department in dealing with the case.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in the payment of the balance of a reconstruction grant to a person (details supplied) in south west Cork; and when she can expect to receive payment.

The balance of the reconstruction grant of £200 allocated to the person named was paid in March 1979.

186.

asked the Minister for the Environment when sanction will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Galway who has applied for a new house grant.

An inspection of this house was carried out last week. A decision on the eligibility of the house for a grant will be made when the inspector's report is received in the Department.
