asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works have yet undertaken the reconnaissance survey of the east Meath coast which is required in order to process the application in November 1978 of Meath County Council for funds for works to prevent coastal erosion.

The reconnaissance survey for a coast protection scheme at Mornington, Bettystown, Laytown and Gormans-town, County Meath has been carried out and an engineering report is awaited.
