asked the Minister for Defence (a) the number of married quarters in the Dublin area giving details of locations; (b) the cost of maintenance and improvements to barracks in the Dublin area in the last five years; (c) the amount spent in each of the last five years on buildings, expressed as a percentage of the estimate of his Department and the amount spent on maintenance expressed as a percentage of those figures; and (d) if he will give similar figures in respect of the 1981 estimates.

The information requested at (a), (c) and (d) of the question is as follows:—

(a) There are 346 married quarters in the Dublin area located as follows:-
