asked the Minister for the Environment the up-to-date position regarding sanction for the contract documents relating to Lismore sewerage scheme, County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Contract documents for Lismore Sewerage Scheme are under consideration in my Department. This scheme must be considered in the context of the amount of capital available for the overall sanitary services programme and the number of schemes in progress or getting to construction at the present time and for which adequate finance must be provided.
