The tanks referred to in reply to Question No. 214 of 26 June 1980 have been ordered and delivery is not yet due under the contract.
The question of making further purchases will fall to be determined in accordance with requirements generally of armoured vehicles and other items of defensive equipment and in the light of operational needs.
