Vol. 327 No. 5

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: No. 7 (Resumed) Private Members' Business from 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. No. 16 (Resumed).

On the Order of Business, I give notice that, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I intend to raise on the adjournment this evening the failure of the Minister for the Environment to ensure that families of victims of the Stardust tragedy can be represented at the tribunal by lawyers of their own choice, as announced by him in his speech setting up the tribunal, and the related subject matter of Question No. 154 on today's Order Paper.

I will communicate with the Deputy.

Could the Taoiseach say when the motion for next week will be distributed?

This evening. I understand the Whips will be meeting shortly.

On the Order of Business, have the Government made any representations to the US Government regarding their military support of the junta in El Salvador?

That does not arise on the Order of Business.

I have already explained to the Deputy what is permissable on the Order of Business and that does not arise.

It is a sad reflection on the Government when a Bishop has to draw attention to it.

I certainly think that the concern of the Bishop of Galway should not be laughed at.

That is the Deputy's opinion.

(Interruptions.)
