Vol. 327 No. 7

Written Answers. - Celbridge (Kildare) School Extension.

354.

asked the Minister for Education when the proposed extension to the secondary school at the Holy Faith Convent, St. Wolstan's, Celbridge County Kildare will be erected; and when it is hoped to commission building.

I have approved in principle the development of St. Wolstan's secondary school, Celbridge, to cater for 550 pupils.

My Department are in correspondence with the school manager regarding the additional accommodation to be provided in the extension. When agreement is reached on the additional accommodation required, a planning/briefing meeting between my Department, the school manager and her design team will be held to initiate architectural planning of the extension.

At this stage, it is not possible to state when building of the extension may commence.
