Because the person named has an off-farm occupation it was necessary to determine his eligibility to participate in the scheme. This has now been done and payment of the amount due will be made within a few days.

The applicant is classified as a development farmer and is therefore required to keep farm accounts for each year of his plan. Payment of the grant cannot be made until applicant furnishes evidence that he is complying with this requirement.
