asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the telephone which was installed for a person (details supplied) in Dublin on 20 December 1980 will be operational.

There was a fault on the cable allocated to serve this applicant. This is being remedied and it is expected that service will be provided within the next month.

The appointment of temporary labourers at Tralee and Killarney has been approved and the men selected have been notified to commence employment at an early date.

Service has now been provided. Because of damage caused to the cable allocated to give service to this applicant it was not possible to provide service earlier.

It is expected that service will be provided within the next month or so.
