In addition to the above, the Computer Education Society of Ireland will organise courses in various centres, the details of which are not yet available.
The centres were selected, taking the following into account:—
(i) Geographical factors;
(ii) Population density;
(iii) Availability of facilities, and
(iv) Access to qualified personnel to organise and conduct the courses.
It is anticipated that, as in previous years, the Computer Education Society of Ireland will avail themselves of facilities in Cork and Limerick for the 1981 courses. The details of a grants scheme in respect of the provision of computer equipment are at present under consideration.
