Vol. 328 No. 17

Written Answers. - Telex and Telephone Services.

111.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reason for the delay in providing a telex service for a firm (details supplied) in County Dublin, who first made an application for same in February 1980 and were promised delivery in August 1980.

There is no record of the firm having been promised service in August 1980. Provision of service is dependent on the bringing into service of additional exchange equipment which, it is expected, will be available within the next few months.

112.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a public telephone kiosk will be provided to serve the residents of Willbrook Park, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16.

The use likely to be made of a telephone kiosk at Willbrook Park would not be sufficient to warrant its provision there. However, it is intended to provide an additional kiosk to serve the general area.
