Vol. 329 No. 1

The Adjournment.

I wish to move the adjournment of the Dáil until 2.30 p.m. next Tuesday when, I understand, the necessary time motion will be taken to change the times of sitting.

Before agreeing, could we have some indication of what business we will be taking next week?

I have already given a general indication and the Whips will be in touch on the details. There will be Bills outstanding of which I have been notified and some measures of legislation of our own. The Whips will be in contact and will arrange the details.

I suppose it is not proposed to take any major financial measures next week.

No. Adequate notice will be given and arrangements made through the Whips with regard to the legislation to be done by agreement.

Will the Taoiseach be certain that he will have all his tortured independents here to support him?

(Interruptions.)

I see some long faces at the back.

(Interruptions.)
The Dáil adjourned at 8.30 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 7 July 1981.
