There is no proposal at present to erect a new Garda Station at Mullingar. However, a scheme of works is currently being prepared by the Commissioners of Public Works to provide extra accommodation at the existing station. Pending completion of this scheme consideration is being given to the feasibility of providing prefabricated accommodation as a temporary measure.
