asked the Minister for the Environment when the balance of a £600 reconstruction grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.
A water/sewerage grant of £350 was paid in this case on 6 October 1981 and a reconstruction grant of £660 was paid on 7 October 1981.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as the work has been inspected and passed for quite some time.
Under the Housing Regulations 1980 (as amended) to qualify for payment of a house improvement grant the work had to be satisfactorily completed on or before 30 June 1981 and a claim for payment of the grant had to be received in the Department on or before that date. As those statutory requirements were not complied with in this case, the grant may not now be paid.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a reconstruction grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.
Under the Housing Regulations, 1980 (as amended) to qualify for payment of a house improvement grant the work had to be completed on or before 30 June 1981 and a claim for payment of the grant had to be received in the Department on or before that date. In this case the earliest notification of completion and claim for payment was that received from the Deputy on 2 July 1981. Accordingly, as the statutory requirement was not complied with in this case, payment of the grant may not be made.
