Vol. 330 No. 5

Written Answers. - Doolin (Clare) Harbour.

509.

asked the Minister for Finance in order to promote the economic and cultural development of Inishere, if there is any possibility that Doolin Harbour, County Clare, can be developed for security purposes for boats as they have to travel to either Ballyvaughan or Liscannor because Doolin Harbour is now recognised as a tourist departure point for the Aran Islands.

At the request of the Department of Fisheries and Forestry, the Commissioners of Public Works are investigating proposals for the improvement of the landing facilities at Doolin Harbour. The engineering report is expected to be available in 1982.
