The person named did not apply for a cattle headage grant in 1980. He applied, however, under the 1979 scheme but failed to submit details of his off-farm income when requested to do so.

In both these cases, the grant for 1980 under the EEC suckler cow scheme will be paid shortly while the 1981 grant under the same scheme will be paid in February 1982, after the end of the six months' retention period specified in the scheme.
