asked the Minister for Agriculture when the Land Commission intends to divide an estate (details supplied) in County Galway.

The Land Commission have not acquired this property and consequently the question of the division of the lands does not arise.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he has received an application for sub-division permission from a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a positive and early decision on the application in view of the special circumstances in this case.

Consent to subdivision in this case issued on 27 August 1981.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in dealing with a case (details supplied) in County Galway in the legal branch of the Land Commission.

Owing to the number of other titles awaiting examination it was not possible to deal with the case in question before now. However, it is at present with an examiner and rulings on title will be issued shortly.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when the Land Commission intend to divide the Burns estate, Killeenaran, Kilcolgan, County Galway.

The Land Commission hope to divide these lands next spring.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when the Land Commission intend to acquire the Ward estate, Boadaun, Tuam, County Galway.

The Land Commission are at present concentrating their attention on dividing the substantial area of lands in their possession and on completing proceedings for those properties which are in the course of acquisition. In these circumstances it is not proposed at present to take any action towards the acquisition of the property referred to by the Deputy.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when the Land Commission will divide the Flanagan estate, Hollywood, Tubber, County Galway.

The Land Commission hope to be in a position to divide this estate early next year.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when the Land Commission intend to allot the remainder of the Regan estate, Kiernaun, Headford, County Galway.

The Land Commission hope to be able to allot the balance of this estate early next year.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay by the Land Commission in registering land in the name of a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The Land Commission are unable to identify the case in question from the particulars supplied. If the Deputy will supply further information I shall arrange to have inquiries made.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will consider directing the Land Commission to divide all lands in their possession as soon as possible.

I have instructed the Land Commission to concentrate their attention on dividing the very substantial area — some 28,000 hectares — of land at present in their possession and priority is now being accorded to the preparation of land disposal schemes.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when the Land Commission will divide the Donohue estate, Roxboro, Kilchreest, County Galway.

This property was divided recently.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay by the Land Commission in vesting land in the name of a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The general practice is to vest all allotments on a given estate at the same time and the land allotted to the person referred to in the question will be vested simultaneously with the other allotments on the relevant estate at the earliest opportunity. However, if there are special reasons why he requires the urgent vesting of his allotment he should communicate with the Land Commission and they will endeavour to facilitate him.
