Vol. 330 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Personal Incomes.

7.

asked the Minister for Finance the number of people whose yearly income is less than £2,000, £4,000, £6,000, £8,000, £10,000, £12,000, £20,000, £40,000 and £100,000.

The only information available regarding the distribution of taxpayers over ranges of income is of the kind which is contained in pages 142 to 155, tables 82 to 88, of the annual report of the Revenue Commissioners for the year ended 31 December 1979, copies of which are available in the Library. I will, however, arrange to have a copy of these tables forwarded to the Deputy.
