Vol. 331 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Deputies' Representations to Department.

8.

asked the Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism if he or his Minister of State gave instructions to their officials to refer all representations and inquiries from Deputies to them before any reply or information is furnished; and, if so, why.

The answer to the Deputy's question is no. However, the long-standing practice is that replies to representations by Deputies are normally issued through the offices of the Ministers.
