Details of revised national rents and tenant purchase schemes for local authority houses were notified to all local authorities on 16 October last.
The revised rents scheme is due to be implemented from the beginning of January next following the expiration of the current scheme which has been in operation since May 1980.
The revised tenant purchase scheme covers purchase applications from tenants received by local authorities since 1 February last and will remain in operation up to 31 January 1983.
