I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that they are at present constructing a 7,000 sq. ft. advance factory in Clonakilty. The factory is expected to be completed by mid-1982. The IDA are in the final stages of negotiations for the establishment of a new project, with a job potential of 56, for this factory and hope to make an announcement about the project in the near future.
In addition, the IDA recently purchased seven acres of land in Clonakilty which is being promoted for industrial development.
