asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in carrying out the inspection for a person (details supplied) in County Meath who applied for a grant over ten months ago.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of a new house grant application from the person named.

904.

asked the Minister for the Environment why an inspector has not called to investigate a housing grant application by a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath.

There is no record of the receipt in the Department of an application for a housing grant from the person named.

905.

asked the Minister for the Environment whether an inspection has yet been made of the new house completed by a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if so, when the grant will be paid.

An inspection has not been carried out to date. As the Deputy has already been informed, the grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and that the other conditions applying for the grant scheme have been complied with.
