Vol. 334 No. 5

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

732.

asked the Minister for Industry and Energy the reason for the delay in paying an attic insulation grant to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford as the application was made last December and all the work has been carried out.

This request for an attic insulation grant was not approved at the time it was received because it was not clear from the application form that all the work had been carried out. It has now been confirmed that all the work has been done and a grant of £50 has been paid.

733.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a reconstruction grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Dublin.

A grant cannot be allowed in this case because, contrary to a qualifying condition of the scheme, the work had commenced before an inspection of the house was carried out. The applicant was so informed on 1 December 1981.
