Vol. 334 No. 7

Written Answers. - Ballyfermot (Dublin) Boxing Club Site.

696.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that both the Garda Commissioner and the then Minister for Justice consented to a site adjacent to Ballyfermot Garda Station, Dublin, being allocated to St. Matthew's Boxing Club, Ballyfermot; that agreement with the Office of Public Works was also reached subject to discussion on planning and detail and that the Commissioners of Public Works have now apparently reversed the position on this agreement; if he is further aware of the very close and valuable involvement of the Ballyfermot Garda in the boxing club; and if he is now prepared to confirm that the site in question, for which the club has already had plans drawn up, will now be allocated to the club without further delay.

I am aware of the facts relating to St. Matthew's Boxing Club, Ballyfermot. The question of their future accommodation is at present under consideration.
