asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the additional exchange capacity in the Inagh-Connolly district, County Clare, will become available as there are outstanding applications in the area (details supplied).

Within the next two months.

Terms for the provision of service will be quoted shortly afterwards to the two persons named.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone will be installed for a person (details supplied) in County Clare who is a sales representative.

Within the next three months or so.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone will be installed for a person (details supplied) in County Clare who is a long-term patient and who applied for a telephone in September 1980 with the appropriate medical certificates.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reason his Department cannot provide a telephone service for a firm (details supplied) in County Meath which employs six people and which had a telephone service in Dublin.

It has not been possible to provide service for this applicant so far because of the large volume of engineering work on hands and requiring attention in the County Meath area. It is expected that service will be provided within about a year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the nature of the work which has to be carried out to enable additional telephones to be connected in the Caulstown area of Dunboyne, County Meath; when the work will be carried out; and if the work will also enable applications for telephones to be met in the neighbouring townlands of Folistown and Herbertstown.

Cabling and cable distribution work which will cater for provision of telephone service in the areas named will be carried out over the next year or so.
