Service will be provided as soon as possible. However, it is unlikely that the necessary cabling can be completed for about a year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange for the correction of telephone bills which are being served on a person (details supplied) in Castleknock, County Dublin, who feels that they do not relate to his use of the telephone.

My Department have no reason to believe that there is an error in this account. The subscriber concerned expressed himself dissatisfied with the amount charged for local and STD calls in his April/June 1982 account and also queried the quarterly rental charge.

The call charges were checked and found to be correct; the recorded metered user for the period in question was consistent with the normal usage pattern. The additional quarterly rental being charged is in respect of subsidiary equipment. The subscriber has been informed accordingly.
