asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone will be installed for a person (details supplied) in Blackrock, County Dublin as she paid the installation fee some time ago.

It has not been possible in the time available to identify the application referred to. If the Deputy can furnish additional information about the application, e.g. when and where the payment was made, further efforts will be made to identify it.

(Limerick East) asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone connection will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if a telephone kiosk and letter box will be provided at Strand Street, Dingle, County Kerry.

It is planned to provide a telephone kiosk to serve the Strand Street area, Dingle. Because of the big number of public telephones included in the current programme however it is likely that the proposed kiosk will not be provided for some time. A letter box was provided recently at Strand Street.

It has not been possible to trace an application on behalf of the person named. If the Deputy can furnish additional information, e.g. when and where the application was made, further efforts will be made to trace it.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when service will be provided for a company (details supplied) in Dublin 8 which has paid the connection fee; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It is expected that service will be provided within about two months.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be restored (details supplied) in Dublin 20, as the line has been out of order for a long time; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Service will be restored within the next few days. Unfortunately, because of a backlog of faults in the 01 area, I regret that there has been a delay in repairing them.

(Dublin North-Central) asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the present position regarding the re-location of a telephone kiosk (details supplied) in Coolock, Dublin 5.

An alternative site is being sought and a new kiosk will be provided as soon as possible after the necessary consents have been obtained.

Service will be provided as soon as it is possible to do so. Regrettably it is unlikely that the necessary cabling can be completed for about a year.

It is expected that service will be provided about the end of this year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone line which is out of order since 14 December 1981 will be repaired for a person (details supplied) in Rathfarnham, County Dublin.

The fault, which is in the under-ground cable, will be repaired within the next few days. Because of the number of such faults, which require attention by specially trained staff, I regret that there has been delay in repairing them.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for residents in the Sandyford/Barnacullia area of County Dublin in view of the fact that they applied seven years ago.

Service will be provided as soon as it is possible to do so. Regrettably it is unlikely that the necessary cabling can be completed before the end of the year.
