asked the Minister for the Gaeltacht if he is aware that the balance sheet of Údarás na Gaeltachta for the year ended 31 December 1980 which was audited by the Comptroller and Auditor General, shows that the repayable advances made to Gaeltarra Éireann between the period 1 April 1965 and 31 December 1979 which amounted to £41.791 million has been reduced by losses per administration grants accounts of Gaeltarra Éireann to a total of £6,954,932 which, together with the sum of £10 million leaves £35,874,351 as the admitted liability of Gaeltarra Éireann to the Exchequer; and the setting off of £6,954,932 against the liability of £41.791 million has been approved.
