Vol. 336 No. 5

Written Answers. - Waterford Sub-post Office.

635.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, in view of the rapidly increasing population in the Kilbarry area of Waterford city, he will take immediate steps to establish a sub-post office there; if he is aware that a suitable premises exists in the small shopping centre at Ballybeg which would be ideal for this purpose; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Kilbarry area is already adequately served by the post office at Lisduggan which is within reasonable distance and the provision of an office at Ballybeg would not in the circumstances be warranted.
