asked the Minister for the Environment when the payment of a new house grant will be expedited for a person (details supplied) in Castlebridge, County Wexford.

A new house grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and that the other conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Enniscorthy, County Wexford.

The grant will be paid shortly.

asked the Minister for the Environment when an inspection will take place for a house improvement grant for a person (details supplied) in Enniscorthy, County Wexford.

An inspection with a view to the approval of a grant, if in order, will be carried out in this case in due course. The application was only received in my Department on 9 June 1982.

asked the Minister for the Environment when an inspection and payment will be expedited on a new house grant and a mortgage subsidy application by persons (details supplied) in New Ross, County Wexford.

The grant will be paid when an inspector establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and is occupied by the applicant and that the other conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with.

Payment of the mortgage subsidy cannot commence until a grant has been paid and at least six months have elapsed from the date of execution of the mortgage deed.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a decision will be made on a house improvement grant for a person (details supplied) in Blanchardstown, County Dublin, who is anxious to proceed with the work at an early date.

An inspection with a view to the approval of a grant, if in order, will be carried out in this case in due course. The application was only received in my Department on 10 June 1982.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position in relation to the payment of a £1,000 grant to a person (details supplied) in Tubber, County Galway, who has now completed his house.

My Department are awaiting the submission of a form S.L. 4 which the applicant has been asked to complete and have certified by his inspector of taxes confirming that he has not previously claimed income tax relief in respect of interest paid on money borrowed to purchase or build a dwelling.

On receipt of the above, an inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of a grant, if in order.
