An average figure could be misleading since training is based on the needs of individual officers. However, the number of days spent by officers of my Department on training courses in 1981 was 1,251.
I am satisfied with the level of management and technical training in my Department. I believe, however, that there is always room for improvement and I will continue to seek ways to improve the position.
