Vol. 337 No. 5

Written Answers. - CIE Hotels.

464.

asked the Minister for Transport if the board of CIE have asked the Government to sanction the sale of any of the Great Southern Hotels; if sanction has been given; and, if so, how many of these hotels will be sold.

While the operations of the hotels subsidiary of CIE are currently under review, there has been no decision that any of the Great Southern Hotels in the State ought to be sold. CIE entered into discussions on the sale of the Russel Court Hotel in Belfast towards the end of 1981.
