Vol. 337 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Government Office for Ballinasloe.

13.

asked the Minister for Finance the proposals there are for the siting of a Government office in Ballinasloe, County Galway.

(Clare): There are no proposals before my Department to site a Government office in Ballinasloe, County Galway.

I wonder if one might inquire whether the Minister for Agriculture will be absent for the remainder of Question Time today and if he will be here tomorrow? I mean no disrespect to the Minister of State.

Is the Deputy inquiring about the absence of the Minister?

Will he be here tomorrow?

It is quite possible.

In that event, on behalf of Deputy Farrelly, I would like to ask that Question No. 14 be postponed until tomorrow.

The Deputy himself has to ask.

I have authorisation from him for that.

All right. Question No. 14 is postponed.

That is on the basis that the Minister will be here tomorrow.

I cannot give any guarantee that the Minister will be here.

Perhaps the Minister of State would endeavour to arrange that the Minister for Agriculture be here tomorrow to answer the question personally.

We must go on to the next question.
