Board fees are not paid to serving civil servants or employees of State bodies under the Devlin Review Body principle of one-man-one-salary.
All CTT board members are entitled to be paid travelling and subsistence allowances in respect of attendance at meetings or in respect of journeys undertaken on the business of the board. The rates payable are those appropriate to civil servants of the highest grade. Information as to the amount of expenses payable at 31 December 1981 and 31 March 1982 is not available to me as it is a matter for the day-to-day administration of Córas Tráchtála.
