asked the Minister for Health if he will give details of (a) the funds originally allocated at the beginning of the year to the different health boards; (b) any additional funds subsequently promised or allocated to them; and (c) the amounts by which each board is now expected to cut its budget.

Further extra funds are being made available to health boards to meet approved expenditures which were not provided for in the original allocations such as the cost of approved pay adjustments and of 1982 budget increases in rates of cash allowances. The precise amounts involved have not yet been determined.
