asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a new house grant is not being paid to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

The file is with the inspector for investigation and report with a view to the payment of a grant if in order. When the inspector reports that the house is satisfactorily completed and occupied by the applicant the grant will be paid. The inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a mortgage subsidy has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

The mortgage subsidy has been approved in this case and the first instalment will be paid when the relevant claim form is submitted.
