Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant and a mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.

A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and that all the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with. Payment of a mortgage subsidy will be made to the person named, if eligible, when the house has been certified as completed to the Department's standards, occupied, £1,000 new house grant paid and at least six months have elapsed from the date of execution of the mortgage deed.

The grant was paid on 23 December 1982.
