Vol. 339 No. 4

Written Answers. - Department Appointments.

478.

asked the Minister for the Public Service the name, position, rank, terms and conditions of appointment and salaries of any non-established civil servants appointed by him on a full time or part time basis up to 26th January 1983; and if they are on secondment, the agencies or bodies from which they were seconded.

I have not appointed any non-established civil servant to my Department. I have, however, made two appointments under Excluding Orders. These appointments are full-time temporary appointments and will terminate not later than the date on which the Government cease to hold office. The information on each appointment is as follows:—

1) Mr. Louis Monks, Personal Assistant, on secondment from Dublin County Council—£12,650 per annum.

2) Ms Emily Mitchell, Personal Secretary, on secondment from the Houses of the Oireachtas — £146.93 per week.

479.

asked the Minister for the Public Service if any agencies, companies or individuals of a consultancy, advisory or publicity nature have been appointed by him up to 26th January 1983; and if so, if he will give full details of such appointments in respect of remuneration etc.

I have made no such appointments.
