asked the Minister for the Environment when approval for a new house grant will be issued to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

The file in this case has been referred to my Department's inspector for investigation with a view to approval of a grant, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

A house improvement grant in respect of the building of an extra bedroom will be approved in this case on receipt of evidence of planning permission which was requested from the applicant on 26 July 1982.

The grant will be paid shortly.

The applicant in this case has been requested to submit documentation and information to my Department in support of his application on receipt of which his eligibility for the grant and subsidy will be determined as soon as possible.

This grant will be paid shortly.

My Department are awaiting notification from the applicant that the house has been completed and occupied. An inspection will then be arranged with a view to payment of the grant, if in order.

A recent inspection of this house revealed that it is occupied but not complete. A further inspection will be arranged when the applicant informs my Department that the outstanding works have been completed.
