asked the Taoiseach the number of persons registered as unemployed in each employment exchange in County Donegal at the latest date for which figures are available; and on the corresponding date in 1982.

What is the percentage of the total work force presently unemployed in Donegal? How does this figure compare with the rest of the country?

(Dún Laoghaire): I do not have the percentage. That was not part of the question. The question asked about numbers. On 29 January 1982 the figure was 9,787 and on 28 January 1983 it was 11,147.
