asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in paying a calf-heifer scheme grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.
It is proposed to take questions Nos. 547 and 548 together.
The person named in both questions will be paid his grants under the 1982 cattle headage scheme in the disadvantaged areas and the 1982 scheme of assistance for the expansion of the cattle breeding herd shortly.
He will be paid his 1982 EEC suckler cow premium when the six-months period for retention of cows specified in that scheme expires for all applicants in April 1983.
