asked the Minister for Industry and Energy the locations in which the IDA plan to construct factories and industrial cluster units during 1983.

I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that work on the construction of IDA factories, which commenced in 1982, will be completed during 1983 at the following locations:

Killorglin, Co. Kerry, 6,000 sq. ft; Rathdowney, Co. Laois, 7,000 sq. ft; U.C.G., 6,500 sq. ft. (8 units); Clones, Co. Monaghan, 9,000 sq. ft. (3 units); Wexford Town, 30,000 sq. ft. (4 units); Freshford, Co. Kilkenny, 5,000 sq. ft; Castletroy, Limerick, 13,500 sq. ft; Cahirciveen, Craft Centre, Co. Kerry, 24,000 sq. ft. (9 units); Moate, Co. Westmeath, 6,000 sq. ft. (2 units); Pearse St., Dublin, 40,000 sq. ft. (42 units).

In addition, the following factories being constructed by private developers and on which work commenced in 1982 will be completed during 1983:

Cork, 42,000 sq. ft; Killarney, 24,000 sq. ft; Mallow, 20,000 sq. ft; Cavan, 24,000 sq. ft; Letterkenny, 9,000 sq. ft.

Details of the IDA's 1983 new building programme will be announced by me at an early date.
