: Under the terms of the housing regulations, 1980 a grant cannot be paid in this case as the floor area shown on the plan of the house submitted by the person named is in excess of the maximum floor area allowable for grant purposes. The applicant has been informed accordingly. There was no avoidable delay in dealing with this application in my Department.

: There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a new house grant from the person named. An application for a grant from a person of this surname and the same address was rejected in 1978.
