Vol. 341 No. 3

Written Answers . - Dublin Applicant's Pension Entitlements .

723.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will ensure that a detailed statement of pension entitlements is issued to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 who has written to his Department on two occasions in the past and on whose behalf Deputy Gay Mitchell has written on one occasion, without reply.

, Limerick East): There is no record in my Department of representations from the Deputy in this matter. The records show that the person referred to retired on 9 December 1977 and that he later wrote twice (on 16 November 1978 and 8 October 1979) to the Minister for the Public Service regarding matters which were not directly related to pension. On each occasion these matters were referred to my Department and replies were issued direct to the person concerned.

I am arranging to have a detailed statement of his pension entitlements and the basis on which these were calculated sent to the person referred to.
