asked the Minister for Agriculture when a substantial grant under the western drainage scheme will be paid to a person (details supplied) as all work as completed in September 1982.
: An approval under the Western Drainage Scheme issued on 19 January 1980. The local office of the Department has not been notified by the applicant that the work has been completed. When such notification is received an inspection will be carried out with a view to certification for payment of the grant. To qualify for grant-aid the work must be fully completed by 30 June 1983.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a duplicate payable order for £405 will be issued to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry, as he neither received nor cashed his first payable order.
: A pay order for £405 was issued to the person named on 15 May 1980 in respect of a grant under the Farm Modernisation Scheme and was cashed on 21 May 1980. Following recent correspondence with the payee, a photocopy of the cashed order has been sent to him and a letter has also issued to the bank at which the order was cashed requesting further details. When this information comes to hand, the question of issue of a duplicate pay order will be considered.

: As announced in the budget, grants under the Farm Modernisation Scheme for buildings and fixed assets have been suspended until later in the year. As approval had not issued in this case before the suspension came into effect on 10 February 1983, the application cannot be processed further.
