Vol. 341 No. 8

Written Answers . - County Cork NBA Land .

579.

asked the Minister for the Environment the plan the National Building Agency have for the land in their ownership at Ballinwilliam, Mitchelstown, County Cork; and the reason it has been left undeveloped for the last number of years.

: I understand that this site was originally acquired by the National Building Agency for industrial housing for the Industrial Development Authority and that houses for industrial workers were built on part of it. As there has been no further demand for such housing, the agency disposed of the remaining part of the site, four acres, to Cork (North) County Council. I have recently approved the lay-out and house plans for a 40-house local authority scheme on this four-acre site.
