asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of applications for telephone service in County Donegal.

: The number of applications awaiting telephone service in County Donegal is about 1,200.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the telephone exchange at Terryglass, County Tipperary, will be converted to automatic use.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the telephone exchange at Ballinderry post office, County Tipperary, will be converted to automatic use.

: I propose to take Questions Nos. 29 and 30 together.

It is expected that Ballinderry telephone exchange, which also serves the Terryglass area, will be converted to automatic working towards the end of next year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when he intends to replace the telephone kiosk on Main St., Donnybrook, Dublin 4, which was removed some time ago.

: It is planned to replace the kiosk at Donnybrook Road as soon as the necessary kiosk structure becomes available.
