An application for the award of service medal (pre-Truce) submitted by Mr. Francis Fitzsimons, Clondine, Delvin, County Westmeath, was refused because it was not established that the applicant was a member of Óglaigh na h-Éireann (I.R.A.) continuously for the period of three months ended on the 11th July, 1921.
On the receipt of evidence that applicant was a member of Óglaigh na h-Éireann for the period of three months ended the 11th July, 1921, the application will be reviewed.
