Vol. 341 No. 9

Written Answers . - Kerry Embankments .

749.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange to have the embankments at Cromane Lower, County Kerry, repaired urgently, in view of the fact that they have been broken as a result of serious flooding during the winter months and that 30 landowners are in danger of their holdings becoming an island.

: The repair of the embankments in question is not part of the programme of works to be undertaken under the Arterial Drainage Acts and accordingly the Commissioners of Public Works have no proposals for this repair work.
